Justin showed hie interest in music since he was very young. In fact, he taught himself to play the guitar, drums, piano and trumpet. When he was 12 years old, young Justin Bieber joined a singing competition in Stratford, singing "So Sick" by Ne-Yo, and placed second. That fate marked Justin's raise to the limelight. For the purpose of letting her friends and family know about the fate of Justin in the contest, her mother posted the video of him in YouTube singing his piece in the singing competition. She also other home made videos of Justin in the same YouTube channel with R&B covers. Those videos of Justin Bieber were accidentaly seen by Scooter Braun, a former marketing executive of So So Def. He was impressed to the performance of Bieber and he tracked down and contacted Mallette. When her mother agreed to Braun's proposal, Justin flied to Atlanta, Georgia to record his demo tape. Braun then contacted singer/songwriter Usher and shown Justin's tapes. Usher was impressed and immediately signed Justin. At that point, Justin and his mother moved to Atlanta to start his career in the US. Braun also became Justin's manager. Justin Bieber released his first single titled "One Time" which was a worldwide hit. In fact, that song charted within top 30 in over thirty countries including the US, Canada and the UK. His first album "My World" even came stronger as Justin Bieber made a record to be the first artist to have seven songs fro his debut album to the chart of Billboard Hot 100. That fate was preceded by his international top ten single "Baby". Aside from music, Justin Bieber also appeared in some television shows. He guested in shows like True Jackson VP, My Date With..., Silent Library and a cameo role in School Gyrls. He also guested as performer in Saterday Night Live and as Jason McCann in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in a multiple episode guesting. |
